Outside Sales/Project Manager

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year


This year alone in the Ohio area has experienced in excess of 535 million dollars of insurance claims related to weather according to the Ohio Institute of Insurance. Every year roofs & aluminum siding are damaged from wind & hail that are covered by insurance companies of the insured. What this means is we are helping homeowners improve & repair their home at little to no cost to them!


This is HUGE!

Normally, the hardest part of selling is making it affordable. FREE is affordable. We are seeking outside sales representative/project managers to work affected areas from large wind & hail damage.


Qualifications/Preferred Skills

  • Makes Sales Presentations to customers by explaining the damage to their property, answering questions, and providing solutions.

  • Explain procedures, obtain proper paperwork, signatures, and inspect interior and exterior areas of home including attic and separate structures.

  • Must be able to sell and close contracts.

  • Must be technology proficient and be able to adapt to technology changes.

  • Must be able to get on ladder and perform roof inspections.

  • Assist homeowners with filing insurance claims for property damage, due to the storm and/or catastrophic events.

  • Work with insurance companies and adjusters to assist in reviewing estimates

  • Past sales experience in construction is highly desired.

  • Must have a proven success record in past sales management/leadership background.

  • Must be energetic, social and have great people skills.

  • Strong Written and Verbal Skills


Lead Generation:

  • You will be responsible for managing leads weekly, monthly, and quarterly to ensure year end goals are met.

  • Storm Season – You will be traveling to provide a service to the different homeowners when storms hit. There will be many homeowners in need of construction services following the damages and you will be the mediator between customers and the insurance companies.



  • The sales associate will learn and execute our refined sales system. The sale system helps our average sales associate close 30-60% of the appointments and will be the foundation to their success. This is the main role of the sales associates and is the main metric of success. The sales associate should expect to scout for additional inspections around each potential sale, perform inspections, demonstrations, and be detailed with the follow up with unlanded proposals. The sales associate should also expect to do a decent amount of traveling around the Cleveland, Akron and Canton areas during the storm season, where they will maximize their compensation plan.


Duties Include:

•   Presenting & selling our services to prospective customers.

•   Working with insurance claims adjusters in the field.

•   Final inspections of the work completed.

•   Building relationships with neighbors of current customers to promote our services.


Once we install a roof/siding on one house, we install the entire neighborhood

Field Service Technician

The Third Estimate is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. A Field Service Technician is responsible for helping clients install and/or repair Windows, Siding, Roofing, Gutters and other exterior projects. A few of the main duties of a Field Service Technician are completing punch-list walkthroughs with our customers upon initial job completion, troubleshooting project concerns once addressing concerns, advise the customer and stay in contact throughout the day with the Production Manager A Field Service Technician should have at least 5 years of on the job roofing, siding and / or window installation experience. One of the most important skills that a Field Service Technician will have is a


Qualifications/Preferred Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding and window product terminology and installation best practices.

  • Capacity to motivate and lead laborers that you work directly with.

  • Effective Time management and logical decision-making ability.

•   Knowledge of building departments policies for inspections and installations.

•   Take pictures of all jobs.

Outside Production Coordinator

The Third Estimate is seeking an experienced Inside Production Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing the entire scope of a roofing, siding or general construction project. The Field Production Manager must have the ability to oversee multiple job sites, within multiple counties around Northeast Ohio simultaneously; will be monitoring labor and sub-contracted crew performance and reliability and will ultimately be responsible for meeting job timelines, efficiently and staying within budget.


Qualifications/Preferred Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding & window product terminology and installation

  • Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of crews.

  • Effective Time management and logical decision-making ability.

  • Strong focus on quality installation and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport with customers

  • Work directly with Inside Production Manager to project plan, budget and identify material needs.

  • Monitor the progress of the construction activities daily and hold regular status meetings with company executives and other staff.


Duties Include:

  • Inspecting jobs and be utterly responsible for the final quality of installation.

  • Scheduling job Final Inspections with customers and resolving customer issues regarding installation.

  • Completion of Punch Lists and collecting final payments while at the job site.

  • Using existing sub-contractors and recruiting additional sub-contractors.

  • Ensuring that all work meets TTEC standards.

  • Will have the ability and knowledge to install and service siding, roofing and gutters.

  • Knowledge of building departments policies for inspections and installations.

  • Work with TTEC current office staff, sales representatives, sub-contractors to ensure a satisfactory installation experience.

  • Maintain projected profitability per job.

  • All jobs, punch lists, Final Inspections, and completion Certificates need to be collected within 72 hours from completion from Sub-contractor

  • Take pictures of all jobs

  • All customer calls need to be returned within 24 hours. Preferably immediately – within 1 hour.



Based on experience and ability to do small service requests while on site. (A minimum of 45 hours per week. 7am-4pm)

  • Truck will be provided for use during work hours.

  • Gasoline will be provided for all work-related use.

Installation Crews (Roofing, Siding)

Wage $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience (opportunity for advancement!)

Position Overview:

This position consists of performing tasks involving physical labor at our customer’s homes or businesses. Duties include but are not limited to- operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing job sites, cleaning up debris, as well as communicating in a professional manner with our clients.   



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of materials and tools

  • Removal/Demolition per job packet

  • Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe manner

  • Take instruction from Team Lead

  • Ability to install roofing and siding materials. Knowledge of a brake machine is preferred.

  • Other duties as required

  • Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, possibility for required overtime during peak season




  • At least one-years’ experience in roofing/siding installation

  • Confidence and experience using hand/power tools as needed

  • Must be timely, reliable, and able to follow a schedule

  • Must have customer service skills - Jobs require that you maintain composure even in difficult situations. Job also requires being pleasant with other laborers and displaying a positive attitude.

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • High School diploma or equivalent

The Third Estimate is a family owned and operated business that has been bringing budget friendly home improvement options to Northeast Ohio for over 20 years. We are currently growing our marketing department and are looking for an experienced, full-time, Confirmations Associate for our Twinsburg office. The ideal candidate has extensive phone customer service experience, rehash sales experience and a professional and charming phone persona.  The ideal candidate would also be able to understand & interpret customers immediate and future needs and can develop accounts and nurture customer service relationships all over the phone. This job deals with warm leads from our database and with hot leads generated from current print and web marketing initiatives.


Under the general direction of the Scheduling Coordinator, candidate takes all inbound project requests and handles all outbound follow-up calls to maintain and meet reset quotas. The confirmer solidifies the appointment, as well as maintains lead quality and works directly with marketing to keep a full calendar for sales team. 


Qualifications/Preferred Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Excellent verbal communication skills & telephone etiquette a must.

  • Saleforce Experience Preferred, but not necessary, Familiarity with windows operating systems

  • Familiarity with Home Improvement terminology a plus

  • A proven track record of successful customer service & rehash experience.

  • Must be dependable & be able to work 10am-6pm, Monday – Friday. (hours during summer season may be slightly longer)

  • Be able to keep a positive outlook in stressful situations & work well with a team environment

  • Must be able to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment, with new challenges daily.

  • No supervisory experience required.
